How to deal with hair growth in men?

pilosite homme

Human hair is a divisive topic. For some men must keep their body hair while for others the beardless body in men is the norm. Here are my tips for male hair growth.

Here is a subject that is talked about a lot on my social networks as soon as I talk about hair removal or when I present a new trimmer on the blog: male hair. And clearly, two clans clash, nicely of course! First there are those for whom human hair is sacred, we must absolutely not touch the hair that nature has given us. And there is the other clan for whom hair growth in men is no longer synonymous with masculinity or even with a certain virility and that ultimately body hair removal is a treatment like any other. Moreover, some go so far as to do full hair removal for men , which means that for them hair is not at all synonymous with virility.

Here are my tips for male hair growth.

What to do with male hair ?

Should you keep your hair when you have a lot of hair? This is the question that many men ask themselves today. Well there is no answer to that. Finally, let's say that there are two lines of thought:

Male hair and fashion

If you want to be a bit like everyone else, since the hairs no longer have the coast, in this case, you will have to take care of your hairiness! Today we see a real phenomenon where the beardless body in men is becoming somewhat the norm. Moreover, in some countries, such as Spain or Italy, the norm today for men is to have perfectly shaped eyebrows (and therefore shaved) and shaved legs. It must be said that men are getting more and more into bodybuilding and the hair is not really suitable for showing off the muscles! Thus, the legs are increasingly shaved among men and armpit hair removal has almost become a classic. As well as the depilation of the testicles or the depilation of the furrow inter buttocks , for reasons of hygiene, even sexual, enters more and more in the daily life of the men.

Hair growth in men and your partner

But I would say rather to take your hairiness as you feel it. Honestly if your hair doesn't bother you, or your partner for example, why should you spend long minutes removing it? It is true that the fate of hair in humans will depend on two criteria:

  • the time you have to spend taking care of yourself: inevitably, if you are constantly in a hurry, your hairiness will not be a priority

  • and the will of your partner. If your partner loves hairy men, then the question of your hairiness does not arise. On the other hand, if your partner prefers men with very fine hair, or even no hair at all on certain parts of the body, then to satisfy him/her, you will have to take the razor or the depilatory cream!

Male hairiness and seasonality

There is also another factor that can come into play regarding the fate of hair growth in men: the time of year. Thus, with the heat of summer, some men will decide to trim their hair or shave it to:

  • hygienic reasons, and not to suffer bad odors related to perspiration. This will be especially true in men who suffer from excessive sweating.

  • aesthetic reasons: as soon as you put on a tank top or shirtless, it is true that it is not very pretty to have hair sticking out under your arms, for example. Again, this is all a matter of taste!

How to deal with hair growth in men?

If you are hairy and your hairiness is a real problem for you, different solutions are available to you!

Hairiness in man and trimmer

The first thing you should do if you have a lot of hair and it's bothering you is to take the first trimmer you have at home and trim your hair. I'm not talking here about completely shaving off your body hair and having a perfectly beardless body, no. I'm talking here about maintaining your body hair and making your body hair look fuller. So if you don't have a body trimmer, you can very well take your beard trimmer and adapt the comb to the desired length.

If I can give you any advice, apart from the chest, if you choose to trim your hair and not shave the desired part, then I advise you to still keep a certain length of hair. There is nothing more bizarre indeed to see a man with very short hair on his legs. Either you shave your legs entirely, or you wax your legs , or you do nothing. It is the same with the back, either you shave your entire back, or do a back wax , or you do nothing. But do not leave a few centimeters.

Hairiness in men and the razor

Of course, the first step men will take to deal with their annoying hairiness is to take the razor. We all have one at home, and it's so handy for removing the hairs that bother us! A little tap and hop in a few seconds the hairs are gone.

So it is true that shaving your hair is the most practical way. But beware, shaving is not the most optimal solution, the hair will indeed grow back faster than with any other means of removing hair.

Do not forget to systematically use a shaving product, do not pass the razor on your skin. I advise you to take a shaving gel, which will be transparent. This will give you perfect visibility of the area you are shaving, especially if you have pimples. In addition, by having good visibility, you will avoid passing the razor blade several times over the same area, and therefore better protect your skin from the effects of the blade.

Male hair growth and hair removal cream

Hair removal cream for men is undoubtedly one of the fastest growing skincare products on the market today. And it's not surprising when you know that hair is no longer really popular in men

Hair removal cream is the most comfortable way to deal with male hairiness as it is very convenient. All you have to do is apply the depilatory cream to your hair and wait a few minutes for it to take effect. By having an effect, we must understand disintegrating the hair, that's how a depilatory cream works. But be careful not to leave it too long, you risk having burns, not very pleasant depending on the area. I am thinking in particular of testicular hair if you do testicular hair removal .

How to take care of male hair?

But what should you do to take care of your body hair if you have decided to keep your body hair?

The first care to do for the good of your hair will be to feed it. Yes, nourish your hair by moisturizing it. Because you should know that a hydrated hair will be a hair:

  • stronger

  • more shiny

  • softer

  • who will grow better

And this, whatever part of your body. Also, do not hesitate to use two types of products for this:

  • moisturizing body milks, the classic product

  • or vegetable oils, such as olive oil, sunflower oil, walnut oil, etc. In short, the one you have in your kitchen! Of course, select an organic oil! These vegetable oils are indeed very nourishing!
