Shaving when you have acne pimples can be complicated. Here are my tips for shaving well with acne pimples.

We've all had this fear of having to shave with pimples on our face, whether it's pimples related to sensitive or blemished skin, or even acne-prone skin. Especially when you are young adults, with male acne pimples that can persist. And shaving with acne pimples on the face can very quickly become problematic with the appearance of bleeding from shaving cuts on pimples.

Here are my tips for shaving with acne pimples.

Prepare your skin before shaving with acne pimples

More than any other person who is going to shave their face, or any other part of the body for that matter, one can have acne pimples on the legs, under the armpits, the pubis, etc., it is necessary prepare your skin before you shave.

Take a shower before you shave with acne pimples

This is advice that I give very regularly, on all my articles related to shaving or hair removal. It is necessary to take a shower before shaving, to facilitate shaving. And this is especially true if you have acne pimples. The advantage of taking a shower before shaving is that the hot water will soften the hair and therefore make it less harsh. Thus, your hair will be more flexible and therefore easier to cut under the razor blade. You will thus force less and less insist on your skin while shaving, the shave will therefore be smoother. And if you have acne pimples, you're going to want the smoothest shave possible.

In addition, the hot water from the shower will open the pores of your skin as well as your hair follicle, and therefore make the hair more accessible, with less risk of damaging the skin.

Of course, I advise you to take a shower with hot water. However, be careful not to burn yourself!

Exfoliate before you shave with acne pimples

Likewise, another gesture that I recommend before any shaving or hair removal session is to do a facial scrub , or a scrub of the area to be waxed or shaved. Exfoliation will have the advantage of deeply cleaning your skin and removing all the dead cells from your skin. Thus, your razor blade will glide better on your skin. Shaving with acne pimples will therefore be more pleasant, and less sensitive.

In addition, exfoliating before shaving if you have acne pimples will help preserve the razor blade. Indeed, in addition to shaving your hair, the razor blade will also collect sebum and dead cells. Especially if you have very oily skin. Thus, by exfoliating, you will have less difficulty cleaning your razor blade .

Check your razor before you shave with acne pimples

One of the important things to do before you shave is to check your razor blade thoroughly. Indeed, your razor blade must be as sharp as possible, precisely to prevent it from scratching your skin and thus cutting pimples. Thus, if you notice that the blade is not clean, damaged, etc., it will have to be changed.

Moreover, it is recommended to use a razor with three blades, rather than a razor with five blades which will be too aggressive on your skin.

The ideal would be to use a straight razor or a safety razor , which gives you perfect shaving precision.

During shaving with acne pimples

Your skin is now ready to be shaved with acne pimples. But, certain elements will help you during the very step of shaving.

Use shaving gel or shaving oil

Of course, if you have pimples or acne, you're going to have to watch out for your pimples while shaving. It will thus be necessary not to insist too much on the buttons.

To do this, I advise you to use a transparent shaving product, which will allow you to leave your pimples visible. Forget shaving foam, which completely hides the skin. Instead, prefer a shaving gel or shaving oil that are transparent. You will see perfectly where you pass the blade of your razor.

Gently shave on skin with acne pimples

Of course, if you have pimples or acne, you will have to shave very gently. Above all, don't go in a rush, because the damage to your skin could be very significant. Shave gently, take your time, shaving is not a race! You will have to be very careful when approaching the buttons.

After shave with acne pimples

Now that you've finished shaving with acne pimples, don't leave the bathroom just yet. No, another care is to be done, moisturize your skin.

Indeed, the razor blade has attacked your skin, it is not very natural to pass on your skin regularly, sometimes every day, a razor blade. Moisturizing your skin will not only restore the hydrolipidic film, but above all protect your skin from external aggressions. And just because you have oily skin doesn't mean you shouldn't moisturize on a daily basis! You can indeed have oily and dehydrated skin at the same time.
